150 views Sullivan St
Each space has 2+ views towards Sullivan St slicing the original orthogonal structure diagonally

Solution

The basic idea for this apartment is to focus on 2 principles:
1. In a rectangular space the longest straight line is a diagonal
2. Each room (in this case functional space) in the apartment has 2 different views towards NYC.

Since the apartment itself is small so it seems sensible to look for bigness elsewhere: all walls are positioned in away that the view to the outside is maximized.
A grid is made by connecting the 4 windows and entrance door so the basic  lay-out for the apartment is being fixed. 2 mirrors are being added thus creating cross-links and spacious effects.

On various levels (ankle, knee, waist, chest, head and above) the structure differs thus making the spaces connect and intertwine. All the original walls are being covered by storage walls except for the strategicly placed mirrors. The dinner area is optimized for 12 people. By lowering the table a lounge area is created. The guests are supposed to sleep in the bedstead that has a sliding door and a rotating door that provides for some basic privacy, although the city never sleeps so why would you?

By obeying the previously formulated rules a new set of spaces originates that result in 150 views sullivan st
