Here's what happened

Challenge

Detergent brands are constantly competing for a bigger market share and this brand’s masterplan for 2023 is to strengthen its profile as a high-performance and innovative brand among consumers.  Looking at the complete washing process, the brand wants to see how product innovations can target any points throughout the journey. The important touchpoints and points of interest are, e.g. Stains, Fabrics, or Technologies.

Approach

jovoto curated 25 diverse creatives with peak diversity in their skills and backgrounds. As we are exploring different solutions for this challenge, the creatives from 12 different countries had skills from Art Direction, Product/Service Design, and Graphic Design. The creatives were asked to explore product ideas either revolutionizing or revolutionizing the given directions. The goal was to find product or service innovations that will support their masterplan for the future.

Outcome

The creative team came up with a total of 57 ideas, with some focusing on the evolution of the brand's current portfolio and some focusing on the revolution of exactly those. That outside-the-box thinking and engagement wow'd the clients and the winning ideas were sent to validation.
