When serving to a large number of people like 1500 - 2000 people, it is never an efficient method to look for individual preferences and serve accordingly. Common interests need to be identified for groups. General interests like healthy food, proper nutrition, weight loss, weight gain, muscle health etc can be identified. With a proper nutritionist different foods which can be served under each plan can be identified. Each employee can subscribe for each plan through mobile application. They can see food dishes for the current day with details on what the health benefit of that food is.
Instead of a buffet system, we are switching back to a lunchbox concept for portion control and to avoid food wastage. There will be 3 different lunch box sizes, employees can find their lunch box size with mobile app by entering their height and weight, or else can manually select. Lunchbox which will replace plates is nothing but a compartmented plastic box with a lid (as used in airline food industry). Here each compartment item details for the chosen plan for the day will be available for the employee.
