The main idea stands in flexibility of place and time in order to get diversity of experiences while enjoying food. Two core components drive our concept: SmartModular Floor, for multiuse of space, and SmartFood App, for time optimization. 1. SmartModular Floor. It is well-know fact the suspended ceilings of office buildings are used for heating, ventilation, lighting and air-conditioning. In near future, food packages, connected by IoT, are delivered to each of us through these ceilings. 2. SmartFood App. Employees don’t loose time while waiting for food at canteen, cafeteria or bar. Instead of this, they could order their food by App and enjoy it in almost any place inside the building.

How does digitization & connectivity create a unique eating experience?

The SmartFood App is the right tool for ordering food in no time, with exact specifications, right from your workplace. So, the employee can be in the meeting room, inside a private capsule or in the canteen - the food will be there if preordered. This is possible due to the SmartModular Floor - a system of interconnected packages of food that will move inside suspended ceilings till they reach the right employee destination. The floor modules allow infinite possibilities for interior design.

What other amazing features does your concept offer?

The Smart Floor modules will come up with green spaces for growing spices and hologram representations of waiters, music bands, live concerts, TV shows and so on.

The SmartFood App, with its realistic representations of food, is the right tool for ordering food in no time, with exact specifications, right from your workplace. The employee is able to choose if he wants to eat alone or to join someone’s table, find out the right time of food delivery and enjoy diverse types of meals. So, he can be in the meeting room, inside a private capsule or in the canteen - the food will be there if preordered. This is possible due to the SmartModular Floor.
