the Daily Venue
the Venue is a space molded by architecture and technology in order to answer any need.

Through the help of technology and clever design, the Venue is built to be a highly adaptable gathering space. While its core functions are those of an app controlled canteen, where everyone can make an order beforehand, the concept goes far beyond this, in order to generate a multipurpose area to which all employees can relate. Its highly adaptable layout as well as the diversity of features that it offers are elements that give it an important role in one's daily activities.

The concept can be interpreted as an intermediary space between the office area and the canteen area, defining a whole new function that extend and incorporates these two.

Which target group is your concept for?

Knowledge workers and digital nomads.

How does digitization & connectivity create a unique eating experience?

Special automated module packs (for hot and cold dishes) supply the Venue with fresh ingredients and ready made dishes constantly. Sensors detect when they need to be refilled, while the time of day dictates the dish types that are available. A system collects data from employees, giving them a sequence of dishes, available at different hours, to choose from one day in advance. Once the information is processed, everybody receives a notification when their order is ready.

What other amazing features does your concept offer?

the Venue goes beyond the food experience, becoming a space to which people can connect throughout the entire day. In this sense, anyone can eat, cook, work, play, relax, have meetings or presentations, and it can even be the perfect spot for bigger events

What is the core idea behind your campus food experience?

The core idea behind the Daily Venue is to create a prefabricated module that can be placed in any circumstances, any place, be it between offices, as an extension to a canteen, or as a independent sustainable pod outside the office building, a module that can respond to any need, that is highly flexible and easily adaptable, so that eventually the worker starts making it a part of his/her daily tasks and activities, with emphasis on the eating experience at the office.
