Buffetier is a platform, which suggests recipes and helps the employees create healthy meals.


The user browses through the categories or tags to find what they want to eat. The app shows them directions on how to create the dish step by step using ingredients which are available in the canteen. Once they choose their meal, directions will appear on their smartphone, or if they are using Augmented Reality glasses, anywhere in the room. The platform will help localise each ingredient and interactive countertops will help with portion adjustments. The platform can be connected to fitness apps, health assistants, etc. providing nutritional values for all of the meals. Many of the ingredients will be precut and prepared mechanically if needed, and the employee’s task will be putting the dish together- this will save time for both the employee and canteen chefs. This will also replace meal-prepping the day before for many employees. The flexibility and freedom of this is especially beneficial, because it reduces queues and the employees are able to „personalise” their dishes themselves.

All of them. The production and knowledge worker will enjoy the innovative, tech aspects of the platform, such as the interactive countertops, or AR lenses compatibility, as well as the nutritional aspects. The digital nomad will enjoy the flexibility of the platform and experiencing different food cultures.

Digitization and connectivity in this concept provides everyone their own personal cooking advisor, who suggests healthy choices. Modern technology acts as a guide, making cooking a breeze for everyone. Connectivity also helps improve employee relations, by sharing the food cultures of fellow co-workers.
