this is about somedays, early morning, looking through the window, looking for inspiration while I drink a good coffee.
I really love the sunrise colors and sounds, all seems so different, just in that moment when the night are kissing the day, silently ...
technically, this is a mix of diferent graphic techniques: Xilography to create patterns, Monotype to generate colored textured, and digital retouching (Art Rage & Photoshop) to composing...
I really enjoy doing that kind of experiments: calcographic techniques with digital resources mixing, because I can find a lot of very interesting effects and unexpected atmospheres, rich in textures and colors.
I must mention the Artwork of the big Artist, Hundertwasser, because it´s very influential in this particular graphic experiment. also to my good friend and teacher Jhonny Diaz.
I hope you like it :)

Show older comments (32)nice you think that, Dora!! and of course is 100% my creation :)
thanks rural_mind! I really appreciate your comment and support :)
Please don't forget to upload a slide with the design only (see briefing) - Thanks!
Great, thanks!
As much as I like the design, I also think it would be better to do something in your own style and not make a tribute to someone. In the end it should be your creation in your style with your signature!
yes, I´m agree, Dora, anyway, I really wanted to develop and share this idea inspired by that kind of abstract patterns and colors. I´ll working on others variation and ideas too, thanks for your comment and suggestion :)

Wow - I don´t know what to say. These are so beautiful and actually it´s a shame to imprison those light-flooded paintings onto such tiny space! ;) I keep looking on no.14 - it reminds me of a large room in a mansion with high ceilings and colourful curtains and cushions all around. :) Pleasant morning thoughts indeed.
so nice words Janne! I appreciate it a lot :) thanks for your comments and support :)
:) How large are your paintings in real? And how long does it take you to make them?
well, Janne, this is a mix of photographs of differents handmade Artworks, and a lot of digital retouching with psd and Art Rage, Like I described above. But I normaly work on 1 mts formats (when I paint with acrylics. can take me about 1 week).... I love to use Xilographs and monotypes (variated small formats that I have in a images bank created by my own after many years) to create some patterns kinds that I scanned to use filters over them or vectorize.... so, in this particular work I create a big format psd file with many layers, filters, etc... I really glad you like it Janne, and you totally got the morning inspiration idea :) Thanks!! :)
Oh, this is interesting. I like what you said about creating your own image bank. What a pity you live so far away - I guess I could learn a lot from you! ;)
that's so nice to hear, specially coming from a creative mind as you are. I'm always interesting to know about your oppinions and your work, that I also admire a lot. special greets from the distance Janne ;)
