A simple installation to facilitate the life of underground passengers

The lugrail project, prototyped by aased, is going to unconventionally alter the Network Rail /Londons Underground passengers experience when luggage needs to be carried around. The simple, inexpensive modification to the existing and/or new stairs has beneficial effects immediately after the installation. It can be considered as a value engineered alternative to the escalators installations and it improves the quality of travelling by facilitating the luggage transportation.

A simple rail platform is installed on the edge of one of the stairs side and it is fixed as necessary. The lugrail is easily adapted to any length of stairs. It is also appropriately designed to eliminate any possible slip and trip hazards. The wheeled luggage is effortlessly pulled on top of it. A similar idea has been already adopted and tested in public spaces in other countries.
