Solution

The idea behind my label design is to create a visual and conceptual link between the brand bird image and the mythical creature of Pomola, the half bird/half moose creature from the abenaki (indigenous peoples of the Americas) mithology. It is said that Pomola was the creature that brings the cold weather. The abstract gray/white pattern in the background of the main label creates a feeling of "cold" and "ice" , that help with the atmosphere of ice cold sharpness. The name of the Ice Creature is specified under the brand name, and also, "Limited Edition" text was added left and right of the brand logo. The overall idea was not to interfere too much with the bird image of the logo, (less is more) but to let the consumers make their own image of a bird with moose horns that brings the cold weather. The abstract imagery (all original creation) was used to help create that image. I chose the red as a substitute for the blue, to bring out the idea of a limited edition batch, even more. I will upload a blue version of the same design, too, just to be faithful to the brand colors.

What is the mystical story behind your design?

The mystical story behind the label is to bring to people's attention the story of POMOLA, the mythical abenaki creature that was believed to bring the cold weather. Once they open the cold bottle of godlike beverage, they will feel like a mythical creature with bird-like wings and moose horns. Is is all about the power :)

Did you use images, graphics, fonts etc – not originally created by you? Did you get very closely inspired from a source? That’s fine as long as you share that source-links.
