The Idea is to show the hard cut of the ocean and the sky from a distance which makes the bottle look very interesting and innovative at first sight. When people come closer they will recognize what this cut is made of the arctic ocean and the sky and further they will see its main actor - the mystic iceberg which appears on both sides. The Wodka Gorbatschow Logo is placed on the big hidden part of the iceberg, the mystical part. This combines the brand with the mystical characteristics of the iceberg.
Solution
What is the mystical story behind your design?
The depths of the oceans are the most enigmatic regions of our planet. Even the moon is more explored than the deep abysses of the seas. Here live animals that no human have seen before. Just as mysterious as the seas are the giant icebergs of the Antarctic. But what appears so huge to us is only a fraction of the whole. People say that about 89 percent of the iceberg is hidden, which means that the largest part of iceberg lies in the mysterious depth of the ocean - The mystic ice world.
Can you tell us details about the printing specifications of your design?

None

Did you use images, graphics, fonts etc – not originally created by you? Did you get very closely inspired from a source? That’s fine as long as you share that source-links.
Nope.
Nice Idea! But I think the iceberg under the water line needs to lightened up a bit, so you can see it. Also maybe the water color could be more blue to separate it from the rest of the bottle. Same comments on the small round label, can hardly see what's going on.
Hi tcurtisart, first thanks for the compliment. I Know what you mean, but that´s what I would like to achieve with the similar brightness and colour. From distance the viewer should just noticed the hard cut between the water and the sky. I also wanted to make the bottom of the Mountain look more mystic by just making it less visible. Same on the round Label, this should be just an accent. But now I see that the dove on the round Label could get more contrast, I will colour it in the same Dark-Blue like I used on the lowest part of the Mountain. Thank you.
Thanks Olena, this was the first thought/idea that I had when I started.
Wow, what a great compliment. The same to you, your great designs count among my favorites!
Dear shapewolf,
Congratulations for being selected for the Client's Pick of the Week! Apart from a great graphic execution, they liked the idea of the mystery of the two thirds of the iceberg that go unseen. The same goes for the two thirds of vodka that is covered in darkness. So, your design makes the customer think on many levels.
That being said, your design is one issue away from being perfect. And maybe there is no solution to that. The issue is that, from a production perspective, the perfect line of separation on the bottle cannot be done. The label, as you know, is not a round label, it is just a front label. And the line of separation on the bottle cannot be produced as accurate as you've envisioned it (we assume that it is a straight line, although we cannot see the side of the bottle from your design). It would be more or less blurry. What do you think? However, great job!
Looking forward to your story/myth as well. ;)
Hugs, Diana
Hi Diana, thanks a lot. Yes, I know that the straight line on the bottle unfortunately cannot be done. Nevertheless I liked the Idea that the label creates the perfect line from the front. The blurry transition will be visible on the back, but I think this enhanced the effect on front label. Are there also suggestions from the client regarding the design of the label?
Dear shapewolf,
It was worth showing it, indeed. Actually the blurred lines will be on the sides (because there is a label on the front and one on the back).
Unfortunately not.
Cheers, Diana
With some correction to a little lower water level the design would come out even better. I see a better balance with 1/3 of the lable as the bright part (above the surface)
Hello, what a beautiful tag. Ice as a totem is very mystical. I love the dark blue tone of the bottle.
