Material: Arboform "liquid wood" (Work in progress and updated)
Using Arboform "liquid wood" to create new shapes in an eco-friendly way
1/3

Solution

Arboform is an eco-friendly product which has the same characteristics as plastic - but consists of hemp, lignin (part of wood) and other natural fibres e.g. flax.
Lignin is a byproduct of the pulp-industry. It's volume sums up to 50 tons of lignin per year - worldwide. So Arboform is also made of material which is renewable - and already there.

Arboform can be used as a liquid and therefore be put in every wanted shape. Further, it can be directly colored when it's heated. Arboform is even more resistable than wood and you can make it look like wood and also like plastic.
This is not only a revolution for the whole flooring sector, but also an awesome alternative to plastic.

1. Surface/Shape: With Arboform it is easily possible to create a floor that has Reliefs on the surface

Example 1 - Fossil floors: Let your living room or any other room look like an archaeological site.
Example 2 - Walk on the moon: Make the room look and feel like a universe with tiles that give you the opportunity to walk on the moon as well - Reliefs imitating a lunar crater will make this feel even more realistic.
