Normally, wood is used on flooring in its longitudinal direction. It is logical: in that direction, wood is easy to cut, is highly resistant and becomes on prismatic shapes.

But, for a paving function, resistance is not necessarily an important aspect. We care more about appearance and aheestetics. Furthermore, to cut the tree on prismatic shapes makes that we use only a small part of it.

This project aims to achieve a better use of the whole tree (sustainability), reducing waste. The circles of wood make us think about the origin of this material, suggesting a forest, remembering us our link with nature. Suitable for many spaces: a loft, a cottage, a hotel... and at any place where we want the comfort of a wood pavement with an innovative touch.
