The floor is made up of two
layers, the bottom piece is made up of cubes (approx 2x2cm in
size).
Three LEDs are built
into each of these cubes: red, green and blue (as with a television per pixel.
The cubes are seperated by a
thin grid made of pressed, recycled wood.
A recycled, matt glassplate
lays over the Amoled layer. This covers the Amoled´s. The wood and the background to
the Amoled´s is painted with a white wood polish. This polish should be without
wood protector and be made of environmentally friendly products.
The matt glass should be
covered with a scratch resistant and water repellent
Starch-based plastic. This should also be recyclable and environmentally friendly. (http://www.upmraflatac.com/europe/ger/images/54_88109.pdf)

To control the brightness, a moveble lightswitch should be on the wall. Also
a HDMI/USB connection so that photos and videos can be displayed on the floor.
