About the project

Challenge

The creatives were challenged to establish an innovation pipeline that will set the F&B brand up for future success. We want ideas that will grow the category by sourcing volume from adjacent soft drinks categories, as well as wider coffee.

Approach

jovoto curated 32 diverse creatives with a background in product design and product innovation from over 15 different countries and invited them to come up with different Ready-to-Drink Coffee directions. The creatives were given several occasions to choose from and ideate for, such as Breakfast on the Go.

Outcome

The creative team came up with a total of 94 ideas, with some being crazy outside-the-box to very simplistic but effective. The creatives impressed with their in-depth knowledge of coffee trends and consumer wants, ideating many great products to add to the pipeline of this major F&B player. The team shortlisted over 30 ideas and over 50 shortlistings were made by the client overall.
