About the project

Challenge

This beauty client came to jovoto because they were facing the problem that their consumers often mistook their products for food due to the packaging looking a little too yummy. The goal was to gather ideas of how to change the graphic design on their products to make it clearer, at first glance, to the consumer.

Approach

jovoto curated 8 diverse graphic designers from 8 different countries and invited them to come up with different graphic designs. The approach was bringing in illustrative & graphic-focused creatives to play around with the key elements on the packaging in order to maintaun the core look & feel of the brand, while distinguishing some fragrance/ingredient elements from food  or ingestible products. Every creative was tasked with a fragrance and developed 2 key ideas for the rework.

Outcome

The creative team came up with a total of 22 ideas, many even for the other product and bewondered us with their speed, quality, and fresh-ness of ideas. The spark ideas were delivered to the beauty company for further ideation.
