Simplicity - is what i like about this project the most. Good presentation - no useless texts and other info.
i didn't have enough time to be exuberant :-)
I like your idea of layering the functions physically, the purity of concept is very attractive, if your plans would liberate from the rigid routings, it will be more interesting for me.
thanks, you are right, I thought that some of the layers might not be orthogonal and this will change the space more, but the idea came too late :-)
The main idea about the layering is fabulous. You are the first one got 5 stars from me.
The idea about the layering came when i was trying to find fast way for the transformation, because between breakfast, lunch and dinner there is not enough time for different table settings for example. :-)
yes the layer idea is great! And to hide the mechanism in the columns to avoid cables in the room is very clever!
great idea! But i think it very difficult used. My score is 10 for the originaly thought.
It is, I agree, but not impossible :-). Thanks for the rating!
I think it's too difficult make it possible!! But is a good idea! ;-)
Thank you ! I think it's not so difficult. The construction of the platforms could be a self-supporting steel grid so it can be only 12 cm covered with high pressure laminate in all sides or OSB, steel sheet etc. for low cost version :-)) So the most expensive part is the 4 times more materials for floor and ceiling, but I think that's the price of a real transformation - different materials and forms not only with lighting or table settings. The other expensive thing is the mechanisms, but that's the price for fast transformation which is necessary to change everything between breakfast, lunch and dinner.
A really good approach! Not very real transformers in this contest - your´s definitely is!
Maybe cost intensive? Maybe you can give some information concerning this?
Thank you ! I tried to give an idea for the cost in the previous comment.
Can't say any prices now, but I think it will be cheaper than buying 150 chairs, 30 tables and 10 sofas from Poltrona Frau Group for example :-))
Good job! very creative :)
Thank you !
creativity of the layers are excellent.. keep it done.. :)
like the idea with the furniture layers coming from above. looks very interesting.
thanks. hope to have enough space above :-), because i was not sure about the height ...
Impressive work and great imagination :)
Just one piece of advice - Though using "Minimal style", think how to make interior a bit cosier and glamorous. The athmosphere should represent luxurious restaurant and the guests to have feeling of being special while dining there.
Thank you ! The aim of that renderings are only to show the transformation idea - I even didn't select specific materials - no decoration - covers and other textiles .. There are many possibilities of styles and atmospheres that this idea allows. I used only 5 materials for floors and ceilings , but they can be 10.
Convinced :) Good luck!
I like the idea, but I think it is very difficult to change the design when there are guests in the restaurant. This idea could be use from one day to another day but not during the whole day.
Thank you ! Something important is that there are 6 zones and you can change the layers independently - this can give some variety of functions and possibilities.
Very interesting idea!
