project open plan focus on the alternatives of urban hotel programs that's possible for TABLET(r) to apply in latest trends of new york city urban lifestyle hotel. open plan also bring up connections between guests and locals to its main theme and vision.
open plan means that urban hotel space is not to be redefined as ego, closed and separated urban space anymore, but more like public space and entertainment that can bring up joy to the people without compromize the hotel function itself that needs comfort and privacy.
as we know new york's urban lifestyle is rich and vibrant with business, lights, parties, and shops. and from that elements i try to represent all of them into one space of hotel interior. be it simple, or dense, depends on the event and attractions that open plan presents (hotel operator organize). variation and versatility be the main tone of this space and people will find this place true magical and different unlike any other hotel space across manhattan.
space is evolving to the course of nature. that is another amusement element beside business activities, entertainment, shops, and culinary experience. inside the density of downtown newyork concrete jungle, there's should be a green and glowing building that makes difference than other building and its surroundings. the open plan space functionalities catch more guests and would provide more diverese activities to them.

to make hotel open and attractive, shows (music, art, drama) held in the open plan center stage, then people (locals) will watching along with hotel guests freely with access to hotel facilities.

architectural aspects
- use latest high-tech steel cantilever structure with bracing to tower core, gives room in the ground floor
- the lobby is public area and direct access to hotel facilities; such as: restaurant, toilet, bar, cafe, and meeting rooms.
