The heart is the root of life, the sun the center of being. One feels encircled by fresh mountain herbs and lush alp meadows.

The uniqueness of the design is achieved through use of old linocut techniques. Four color plates were used. The irregularities and overlappings are a welcome effect. Made by hand (guided by the heart), the artwork feels natural, free, unbiased and human.

We were inspired by the ornament craft of 18th century rural Swiss folk art.
