Remember the campaign "the best job in the world? It was one of the most successful social campaigns ever... conducted by the Australian tourism board. The idea is simple;: give one guy or girl the chance of a lifetime: to work and live in a paradise spot on earth, for half a year, and be payed for it, too. In the original case the 'job' you had to do was to be caretaker of a beautiful Australian island (and to blog and write about life on that island)
I think this kind of social campaign could work for Yasuni. One person is invited to stay in a jungle cabin, learn about the jungle and the life of the indeginous folk. It won't be a fancy or luxurious life - so you must be pretty dedicated to do it. Your job is to create a documentation about your experience and to learn as much as you can about the jungle.
The call for applications is open to everyone - but each applicant must donate $1 for their application into the Yasuni fund. Later, the person who makes the job will lead further fundraising activities.
As you can tell this concept is very rough... I'm open for collaborators, as I probably won't have much time to keep working on it.. So, if anyone's up for it, msg me!
