Concept:
Yasuni is fairly unknown to the public, as for the intentions of the Oil companies. This means getting the public aware. The best means to accomplish the spread of knowledge is through the internet. Adding a campaign animation to the front page of Google would be one of the best means to drive attention towards Yasuni and it's future. Lets take Google for an Example. Google is the second most visited web-site in the world with a few million clicks every day. Anyone who would visit Google, would see the animation and would automatically know that there is this rainforest existing, even if he doesn't have any further interests in saving Yasuni, at least he has become aware. Through the awareness campaign, public demand would shift towards saving Yasuni and the people will start demanding for the governments to donate big sums of money. Through further sales of merchandise and App's people will additionally spread the awareness of Yasunni and donate.
The animated campaign will work like this. with every 100,000,000 $ spend the tree will move little upright. Once the 3 billion mark has been reached the tree will move to a total upright position.
APP WITH THE SAME ANIMATION WILL BE SOLED FOR ABOUT 20 CENTS. THE APP WILL BE NOTHING MORE THEN A PRESTIGE ITEM WHICH CERTIFIES THAT YOU HAVE DONATED MONEY TO SAVE THE YASUNI RAINFOREST
It can also be a free App, yet it offers a list of animals of the Yasuni rainforest(e.g. the ones on the t-shirts) which u can donate money to.
