A recognizable Bluetooth wireless speaker.

The product is a wireless speaker housed in a solid aluminium piece weighing 1351 grams. It connects to wireless devices via Bluetooth and can also connect to your device using a regular 3.5mm jack cable. On each of the side it has two minimalist cuts that allow you to pull it up. On the upper part there are music controls. Engraved on the object is the exact weight of the main aluminium piece.

The object is part of a larger series of objects tat will emphasize the relation between the weight of the object and the amount of wasted aluminium.

What makes your product bold and innovative?

The simple iconic design makes the product stand out as bold. Its large weight it's a constant reminder for those who use it of the amount of aluminium that we waste. The object thus tries to rise the environmental awareness of the users.

Which target group is this product aimed at?

The product is intended for home/office users aged between 16-50.

Why is secondary aluminum the perfect material for your idea?

Secondary aluminium is a recycled material that combined with a classical, archetypal design of hefty weight aims at raising environmental awareness. The possibility of leaving the material bare, unpainted also helps the design.
