Solution

To represent the double meaning of "Bank", the form of the bench should correlate with this intention, being not only a blue-orange colored bench.

Smooth and round, appealing form to old and even more: young. Its playful shape breaks up the dry atmosphere of a "common" bank, making it more open and less reserved. Suits ergonomic needs with rounded corners and a soft inward slope. At the center is a real open moneybox-like slot: this symbolically representes the money saving (or better: save money) purpose of a bank. Can even be used as a real moneybox for benefitial purpose.

Graphically it is a reduced form, easy to understand, symbolic and iconic which can be set up as a brand symbol for future marketing campaign identification. Usable as 2D and 3D respresentation with lots of word-play capabilities.

Round form itself can eg. be designed in more coin-like shape - this is open for later refinement.

What is the idea behind your Sparda-Bank-Bench?

Representing the common symbol of banks: money saving, which stands for all money related services a bank offers.

What makes your Sparda-Bench iconic?

It's simplicity to read and understand. It's solitary grounded appearance.

Give us an idea of how your bench is produced and at what costs.

Can be produced with various materials and in various sizes - from single seaters to big size. (Depending on bank / lobby size oder various other uses) One production variation can be to CNC mill a base inner form, cut in various parts for easier production, assembling and later disassembling steps. Base form will be coated with fibreglass sheeting / expoxy, sanded and glossy coated (eg. epoxy coat) Can be produced from wood, concrete or others (differently)

Is your bench transportable and all weather proof?

Depending on use: YES. Epoxyvariation is light-weight. Concrete version might be harder to move but depending on purpose (outside, weatherproof, resistable to vandalism etc) it might even symbolise a rock solid meaning
