The goal is to combine archetype bench elements with a modern looking shape.

Solution

The idea was to have a modular design which invites all people to use the bench and take a seat. The optional grafic shows everyday life situations, with which everyone can identify.

The basic version consists of a base part, which can be used from every site. It has an additional bowl which can be filled with sweets or flyer and a low seat for kids.

If needed it would be also possible to produce additional parts which can be docked on the blue top side: Possible additional modules could be a light system, an info screen system or a magazine rack.

What makes your Sparda-Bench iconic?

The combination of the warm and funny grafic style (everybody will find himself or an interesting detail, like in a wimmel book) and the very modern and multifunctional shape of the bench makes it very iconic.

Give us an idea of how your bench is produced and at what costs.

The inner construction is made of metal, the outer parts are printed wood panels. The seating area is a wood panel, which has a comfy linoleum coating. Estimated cost per bench without modules are 500 Euro.
