Have some fun with a modern connection to the traditional Sparda-Bank logo.

One side of the bench is solid and can provide a bit of privacy when sitting in the bench. The bench itself is perforated metal, a modern material. The free end is supported by a free-form chrome tube. The serif end will provide most of the stiffness necessary to support the perforated metal. The bench seats two, although not adjacent to each other. Two units can be placed facing each other to allow for seated conversations.

What is the idea behind your Sparda-Bank-Bench?

Make a connection to the history and solidity of the logo while making a piece of furniture that meets functional needs.

What makes your Sparda-Bench iconic?

It's a serif!

Give us an idea of how your bench is produced and at what costs.

The materials include a solid wood "serif", bent perforated sheet metal and a formed, polished tube. Production costs will be right at the limit, I suspect.

Is your bench transportable and all weather proof?
