I was searching about a lighter bench with the piece (s) from a log as the first bench, i've created


There are three logs and the sitting space is between the logs. The bench has multifunctional options. The logs can made with different highness, so the client is able to read a document. Trough the year-rings on the log it is possible to give some informations for example to the long history of the Sparda Bank. I think, it gives the clients trust for the Sparda Bank.

What is the idea behind your Sparda-Bank-Bench?

With this formation, it is always possible to mark any dates on the log. It's not only a bench: You can sit, but you can also stand to a log and for example read a document. There's open in the room - no front- / back-side. Pun / Play on words: Log-Bench = Stamm-Bank and the worth Stamm has also different meanings about something related (Volksstamm, Stammtisch, Stammbaum,...)

What makes your Sparda-Bench iconic?

There's a simple model and let different options with the longness for the sitting area, the highness for the logs between. The logs could be used as a storage area or also for sitting place. How big to make the angle between the first an the second seat surface is open. Iconic is also: i never saw such a bench in a Bank!

The production is simple with three pieces of logs, there are sawn for the timbers. Which wood to use, i think that made the price. I'm sure the cost for this bench would be much less than 1'000.-

Is your bench transportable and all weather proof?

Transportable is it easy - and easy to install at the desired location. Weather proof - if it's treated with a paint, there's weather proof.
