Solution

A caregiver is a normal person, if we are talking about a friend or a relative, is normal for them to have a job and a family to take care of, in addition to their caregiving responsibility. Life could be hard for all of us, but for them it's even harder, because let's be honest, it is not an easy job to take care of somebody who needs special attention. As the volunteering it's really becoming a thing these days, let's build something together. CareBreak App, is the place where volunteers can interact with caregivers, and will be able to give them a free hour, to relax, go out, do their family jobs, take care of the house or do whatever they want. In many countries from the Europe there is a similar program for moms, with special needs kids. Volunteers are taking their responsibility for a few hours, giving them time do relax, or do something else. But things won't stop here, because it's normal for the volunteers who use CareBreak App to get something for their work, and they will. CareBreak Points, will be their prize, and this way the jobs will be evaluated using CareBreak Points, a 20 points job, will be a harder one and of course, a 5 points job, will be something easy to be done, for a small period of time. CareBreak Points will be offered by the caregiver after the job is done, and they will be able to add points to the brief, or cut points depending on how satisfied they are. Also the App could offer volunteers some achievements at a certain amount of points, things like giftcard for McDonalds, Amazon, PayPal, Starbucks...but also the possibility to let's say 5.000 points to get a degree as one of the best CareBreak volunteers, to add to their portfolio. I have designed, a basic logo of the app and add some details to the presentation page.

Describe a caregiver situation that you were/are involved in.

As a volunteer, interacting with special kids with special needs. Playing games with them, painting with them, singing and working on holiday shows. It was a good feeling to be able to do something for them, to put a smile on their faces, and into their hard life. The feeling when you see them happy when they understand that somebody is interested in their story and their life, it's incredible and can't be compared to something else, it's very very unique. So this is what inspired me.

Explain the caregiver problem that resulted for you and/or other caregiver(s).

In my case, there wasn't a problem that resulted because I was doing that for a limited time, so I was using my free time for that, but I know some cases, where the caregiver is really charged up with many responsibilities and they don't have the time to do small things that for the most of us are so common that we don't even realize how important they are.

Describe your caregiver solution that would provide assistance or relief to the problem of the caregiver.

A platform where caregivers could easily find somebody to take their place for an hour or two and they will be able to do whatever they like, and reward that person for the effort and kindness.
