Implementing caregiver friendly legislation
Making it possible for caregivers to be considered medical workers everywhere in the world.

My idea is implementing legislation that would allow a caregiver to recieve monthly pay just like the ill person was taken care of by a nurse from public money, in a hospital.

Describe a caregiver situation that you were/are involved in.

My grandma (from dad's side) had been paralyzed in the last ~5 years of her life from the neck down, and we, as her family members took care of her, meaning we washed her, fed her, encourage her to stay positive, and so on and so forth.

Explain the caregiver problem that resulted for you and/or other caregiver(s).

The problem was that we as caregivers haven't recieved any financial support from the government, even though we could of send my grandmother to a public asylum, where she would of been nursed on public money by the state. Therefore, we had to struggle with the money in order to take care of our family member.

Describe your caregiver solution that would provide assistance or relief to the problem of the caregiver.

My solution is the implementation of laws, through organizations, independent activists, petitions and other means of this kind, that would make it possible for the caregiver to be paid a salary and a sum of money for the expenses of nursing the ill one.
