Critical Mass with Wheelance!
A social movement which shows how important is for caregivers to do some sport.

Solution

I started with the an idea what can serve the need of activities for caregivers what they can do with the person they care for. Also I have found out, that many of the caregivers don't do regular sport activities, which can cause lots of health problems. Wheelance is a wheelchair bike what is used both by caregiver and his/her patient. The caregiver is doing some sport, while is spending quality time together with his loved one. We all know how important is to do some sport, and how many benefits it has on mental and physical health. A critical mass with Wheelance (or other wheelchair bike) is would be a regular gathering of caregivers, where they can meet other people in similar situation, they can improve their social life, and it also a manifestation which shows how important is to remain healthy for a caregiver. For Teva it is a great opportunity to prove that they care about the caregivers too.

Describe a caregiver situation that you were/are involved in.

I was in a therapeutic recreation camp for children with chronic deseases where I have learned hove sport can reset my mind and my body when I feel exhausted, and it is a great opportunity to spend some cheerful time with the person I care for.

Explain the caregiver problem that resulted for you and/or other caregiver(s).

Caregivers would like to find easy activities to do with the person they care for. They report that positive activities in their respective daily lives are reduced by 27.2% as a result of their caregiving responsibilities. They suffer from high levels of stress, depression and frustration. Caregivers may not get enough sleep or regular physical activities.

Describe your caregiver solution that would provide assistance or relief to the problem of the caregiver.

Doing some sport can release stress and anxiety, which can cause many chronic deceases. Cycling with Wheelance is a perfect combination of exertion and relaxation, and the caregiver can do it with the person they care for.
