Sickness, invalidity, disability, death, are very complicated issues to address and which are usually only discussed as a last resort. When faced with a case of sudden illness that turns into something more permanent and serious, we are never prepared for what comes next and how to respond and therefore it is essential to know what and who to turn to. Knowing that we are not alone. However, when something like this happens is so sudden that our ability to make decisions or think is very limited because we also find ourselves in shock and lost and if we have a line to guide us and explain to us what will happen next is more easy to get hit in the decisions and make the best choices.
HELPER is the connecting thread that you will follow throughout in this new stage of your life. How?
- RECOGNITION OF DATA INTRODUCTION
- ELABORATION OF A PROFILE / DIAGNOSIS
- CREATION OF A CAREMAP The analysis of the profile allows HELPER to create a "map" where the caregiver will learn what the future holds. HELPER will explain what will be the events and symptoms that appear in the near future, the sequence of events that may appear which are typical of the disease condition of the patient. Each event / symptom will be accompanied by the solution/method and procedure. HELPER will serve to guide the caregiver and help him to find the best solutions and assistance to each of the steps that appear with the progress of the disease. HELPER will also create a caregiver profile based on previously entered information and develop a COACHMAP which will provide adequate emotional training to caregiver. This coach will have not only a digital component but also a presential one. A real coacher will meet the caregiver in periods pre-defined to assist and support him more closely. Throughout the monitoring, the goal is to teach the caregiver to cope with the disease and to take advantage of the last moments that he will be with his “patient”.
