A lot has changed in the world since then and we should take advantage of that. Now we have smartphones, tablets, we are one click away from every corner of the world, so why not create a community application which could help a caregiver?
My mom got cancer when I was 13. She passed away 3 years later. My father used to work most of the time so, during her last years, I was her caregiver.
Thinking about the time when I was a caregiver, makes me wonder what would have been a great help for me, making our life back then easier. And all I can think about is: advice and empathy . I could've used some advice from people with similar experience. Many times I felt alone and hopeless.
Many times the solution is easier than it might seem. Exchanging words and advices, with someone who can relate to your situation, can be one of the most helpful things.
