Wearable Technology proves a huge potential of measuring body signals far away from just being a fitness trend. More likely it can be used to help and rescue people when used in a medical way.
Solution
Describe a caregiver situation that you were/are involved in.
When I worked as a nanny in Australia, I had to support a mother with twins. One of the twins was sick, thats why I helped the mother where ever I could. It was a very intense time for both of us and we wished there was something that could have helped us and give us a minute of rest. Soon the child will be going to school, the mother can't go with the child all the time.
Explain the caregiver problem that resulted for you and/or other caregiver(s).
Heart disease in children is the leading cause of death, accounting for more than 30%. Parents suffer and are constantly running behind their child to make sure they don't over exercise while playing.
Describe your caregiver solution that would provide assistance or relief to the problem of the caregiver.
Wearable technology can provide assistance & relief to any person involved. We design a normal under shirt that can be worn by the child. The special fabric/ material "Nanofibre" of the shirt measures electrical signals of the heart & sends them via WIFI to the parents smartphone and to a medical cloud where the data gets used for heart research. So the app knows when the heart is at risk and sends a message to the parents or connects them directly with a clinic where they get help.
