Stretcher that ease the process of lateral transfer for both patients and caregivers.

Translide is a stretcher that ease the process of lateral transfer for patients and caregivers. Lateral transfer process is a problematical issue for both. Dorsa area of a caregiver is exposed too much pressure while the lateral transfer procedure occurs. Moreover, required number of the caregiver for this process is 5-6. Also, patient have to be stabilized on lateral transfer procedure for its care. Translide provides less required man power for caregivers and also stabilized transfer procedure for patient with the help of its unique PTFE textile mattress design. PTFE textile is used for its low friction, easy to clean and breathe features.

Describe a caregiver situation that you were/are involved in.

When my grandma was hospitalized because of cancer, lots of test is need for her situation. While caregivers came to take her for test, their faces looked like they don't want to do this. In fact, caregivers are responsible for lateral transfer that puts lots of pressure to their dorsa areas.

Explain the caregiver problem that resulted for you and/or other caregiver(s).

Caregivers can be injured while carrying patient from stretchers to hospital bed. Because, caregivers are exposed too much pressure while the lateral transfer procedure occurs

Describe your caregiver solution that would provide assistance or relief to the problem of the caregiver.

In this solution, required number of caregivers for lateral transfer is decreased to one caregiver. In addition to that, pressure that exposed during the lateral transfer to dorsa area of caregiver is disabled thanks to its mechanism.
