Solution

The lacemaker theme evoked me an organic feel. Cotton, dried flowers and insects, those basically made the various motifs of Urban Puritan. I used the wet on wet technique to reproduce the dried flowers in a softer way. The lace motifs were inspired mainly by the pattern in the dragonfly wing.I also used a piece of guipure that i have to add a feminine touch to the design. Finally ,the background was created with the help of a piece of interfacing to create the soft cottony effect.

Why does your design stand out?

It another of working with the lace theme. This pattern was designed to be printed on a jacquard fabric with a delicate pattern or a fabric with already sewn transparent sequins in it or on a burnout fabric .
