Observation

There have been many inventors who have attempted to build perpetual motion machines. So far, the possibility of building a perpetual motion machine has been rejected because of the violation the first or second law of thermodynamics. The claim is that a perpetual motion machine simply cannot be built.

Conclusion

Perhaps the latter claim is true. Or is it? If we look at the "impossibility" of building a perpetual motion machine that will function "forever", the former claim is true. However, if we consider that "a human lifespan" means "forever", then we are only required to build a machine which remains in perpetual motion for, say 100 years?

Solution

MAP will remain operational for 200 years; provided that no natural disasters, interference, etc. occurs in the interim. Once MAP is set into (perpetual) motion, MAP will remain in function for a minimum of two centuries.

Additionally, a smaller version of the MAP unit can be placed in individual residences. Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) technology will be used to equip all residential and commercial building plug sockets with wireless electricity.

1 - A MAP - Machine Assisted Perpetuality facility is constructed in order to serve residents of a city quadrant.

2 - The MAP facility is powered up

3 - Perpetual motion generates an electrical current of 110v, 220v, etc. This power is fed to the local residents. Smaller MAP units can be placed in individual residences. Additionally, a smaller version of the MAP unit can be placed in individual residences.
