Population in cities has increased significantly in recent years. In future, this will become a serious problem. Due to limited space in cities, the population will need taller apartments.


The increasing population in cities will cause energy and infrastructure problems. That's why, we will need more suistainable energy systems.


My idea is based on mobile, smart and autonomous drones. Every flat in apartments will have their own drones and their own batteries. Drones will have the ability to sense the best spots of suistanable energy sources and autonomously can move there to fill their batteries. After fully charged, they can come back to their nest to fill batteries of flats. They can fly wherever they are wanted to. For ex., when their owner's needs electricity, drones can easily be there as a mobile electric store.

How it works: Step 1

Every flat in city will have a main and independent plug. This big plug will be connected with a battery and also a special drone. Drones will be responsible for the charge of the battery of flat. Drones also have their own batteries to charge. But they can be used everywhere.

How it works: Step 2

Drones fly to the spots to charge themselves with converting natural sources to electricity. These could be wind power or solar energy. If the battery of the house is fully charged, they can load their energy to the different drones.

How it works: Step 3

It can be used anywhere and anytime. With a simple command, drones can detect where their owners are, and fly over there. It will also take the place of existing electric car chargers which are fixed and not mobile.
