Bottled water has airs. "From the deep springs of Mount Cook.." or " the pristine wilderness of Alaska...", they dress up what is so basic, so fundamental to our day-to-day lives and give us by-products we don't need. The humble tap is a universal symbol used to rebuke the entire bottled-water economy, both producers and consumers.
This design appeals to those who see through the obvious flaws in the bottled water economy and like the tongue-in-cheek acknowledgement of these shortcomings. When coupled with water purifiers and simple new habits the Vapur bottle range affords better comsumer behavior for themselves and the world through inteligent design.
