The card depicts the emotions felt and expressed in the moment of New Year’s Eve. The concept was not to show how New Year’s Eve is celebrated, but what it means to us deep inside. The art works on all three cards, but shines in the vertical format.
Solution
What story does your card design tell?
We say farewell to the old and embrace the new. Emotions like, joy, anticipation and freedom define this very moment - and it shows in a colorful, expressive and powerful way. The transition from the old to the new is depicted through a foglike frame that gradually dissipates into the new, clear sky lit by our hopes and dreams. We dare to look up as the sparks soar into the night, facing the opportunities - and challenges - the new year will bring.
Is your card for business or private use? Or both?
As an abstract yet lively and highly interpretative art it can be used in either category.
Is the design 100% created by you or is there anything we should know about any third party material used?
The design was beautifully illustrated by the artist Queen Rosa using acrylics on canvas. Queen Rosa its part of the designteam and the art was specifically created for this UNICEF project. Maji Brand Communication altered the colourscheme and contrasts to suit the technical needs for offset- or screen-printing.
No further parties are involved. If "Celebrating New Year's Eve" is chosen, the right to use/alter the art will be discussed and eventually handed to UNICEF.
