The Feeling of Christmas
The essence of what Christmas is all about.

Solution

As the colours on the canvas twirl and circle to the centric heart, so does the whole family on this very day as they come together. The moody, yet pulsating colours correspond with our understanding of the receiving warmth and emotional security of the family. The art works on all three cards, but shines in the square format.

What story does your card design tell?

Nowadays we often celebrate Christmas as consumers. But as families come together, we still exchange way more than expensive presents: we express our gratitude, respect and, of course, love. We come together to be near each other, to give and receive. From the outer red to the inner glow we focus on our emotional core, experiencing "The Feeling of Christmas" again.

Is your card for business or private use? Or both?

The symbolism of the heart is universal and immediately understood. The card can be used in either category.

Is the design 100% created by you or is there anything we should know about any third party material used?

The design was beautifully illustrated by the artist Queen Rosa using acrylics on canvas. Queen Rosa its part of the design team and the art was specifically created for this UNICEF project. Maji Brand Communication altered the colourscheme and contrasts to suit the technical needs for offset- or screen-printing.

No further parties are involved. If "The Feeling of Christmas" is chosen, the right to use/alter the art will be discussed and eventually handed to UNICEF.
