Winter holidays are often associated with consumerism, capitalism, people eating and drinking as if it was their last day on Earth. My thought is to make something that reminds people of the importance of balance in our lives, at any given time. The snowflakes are always in perfect balance, even though their shapes are never the same. This made me think of the yin and yang symbol, which is ever-present in our lives. I combined these two symbols into a simple shape, creating a minimalist, clean greeting card.
