One thing that I want to point out is that the design of the patterns is not randomly made. If you look carefully in that pattern samples you will see why. Beside the fact that they cover all the 3 primary colors (red, yellow and blue) they also have thematic shapes on them, the red one have squares, the yellow one have circles and the blue one have sharp forms that represent triangles. First of all, the red pattern suggest by it's colors and shapes ideas like presents, snowflakes and greetings (in that pattern are featured some mini greeting cards with texts like "Seasons's Greetings", "Meilleurs Voeux" and "Frohe Festtage" that are more visible on the Design and Patterns image). To understand it's inspiration imagine the Christmas morning with all the presents and colored packaging paper. The yellow one give the impression of light and also festive atmosphere. The best image that comes into my head is a family decorating their Christmas tree in a cozy living room filled with light. Lastly, the blue one features a cold and quiet winter night. The color scheme of this pattern cover some nice blue colors and also some shiny white accents that help the design to recreate the peaceful air of the Silent Night song.
