Solution

The design is inspired by the mandala, the center-shaped, universal symbol of life, inclussiveness, oneness, connection with ourselves and the world. The colours and elegance also reflect the richness of being with an open heart, of offering, helping, supporting. This wealth of love is beyond anything material and can be found in a smile, in the simplest act of being there for the others .
The floral pattern also reflects the idea of nurturing, growth, blossoming and opulence that can be found everywhere in nature. These central axes of the design I believe represent Unicef's global presence, purpose and persistent action throughout the years help and support the children of the world.

The design is handmade, using acrylic lacquer paint on ceramic tile.
