LightArc Pavilion
A pavilion/semi exposed arcade, housing light projections and shadow displays.

The steel forms the main structure and a semi-exposed pathway. Lightweight screens are projected onto, drawing from the artwork of Gustav Klimt. The soft curved surfaces and rich, ethereal glows of projections and shadows playing across these will form a striking contrast.

What is the name of your concept?

LightArc Pavilion - A Walk through Austrias artistic and cultural heritage, displayed using modern display media.

Which of the three suggested areas are you choosing for your concept? (the Donaulände public park, the port area or the mouth of Traun River)?

The Port Area (northern site)

What is the public function of your concept?

A monument to Austria's heritage as an art and fashion centre of the world, and the center piece to an enjoyable new public space.

How are the parts of the old railway bridge visible in your concept?

The 3 curved steel forms from the old bridge have been turned on their side to create a gallery space for projections. The remaining steels have been used to create a colonnade between them.

Have you used any third-party material? Even if you've modified it, source the original here. See FAQ for details.
