It's a very good logo, I like that it makes the connection with the community, but you should maybe try to simplify it, keeping the same coordinates.
maybe you will try to rafinate it a litlle bit and adjust it to seal demands. Anyway good idea and I like the way you start by creating the story behind the logo. Maybe you can try also different presentation for this logo (card, table, social media)

i loved the citymap style hand - the greenish one on the iphone - why did u drop that idea. imo stronger than what u went for in the end. gl
We drop it because we receive some recomandation that it might have a more succes if simplified it more, so that's what we did. Hope you like also this version.
too tall the logo-buildings- fingers, leads me to capitalism , looks more like a pattern poster but is nice, good luck!
