Inspired by my other submissions with a victorian elements design I had a very nice afternoon with my mother - we met to have a Five O´Clock Tea together and looking at her old hand-illustrated poetry album and old family photographies. This made me sto go in for some more informations concerning the VICTORINOX company history - and found the nice and emotional story behind the product name: That year, the mother of founder Karl Elsener died and he named the company "Victoria" in her honour! Wikipedia says: "In 1921, with the introduction of "inox" (the French term for stainless steel is acier inoxydable) into their products, the brand and name of the company became the present "Victorinox" ("Victoria"+"Inox")"
So what other key visual could be more consequent and personal than this story worth telling?
image info: photograph of Victoria Elsener by google search - I made an engraving style illustration out of this picture.
