I like a lot the crosses side. What about change the color only for the inclined cross?
You could try to work some on the other side. Maybe a pattern built only using the outer perimeter of the logo could be interesting.
What do you think?
Hi Davide, thank you for very useful feedback. Yesterday I thought about the frontside alredy and decided to change it. You are absolutly right, it was not strong enough. Only the outline of the logo looks so much better than the surface of logo. I like the colored inclined cross. Thanks again.
Great feedback there!
Agree with rossi. Backside is cool
Hi Ana, thanks for feedback as well. I changed the front side. It is so much better now.
The newest slide looks great! :) I especially like the left pattern! which side is the front and which one the back? Or is it part of the concept that there is no front/back? :)
Hi Dora, both sides are equivalent. There exist no backside, just two "frontsides". Every sides plays with another part of the Logo.
I have a veto to the backside ;)
Oh shit, the design I have not seen.
@ Dora: I'm not sure whether the concept is still ok, even if the back looks very similar? The basic concept is different. Tobamin playing in his design with the crosses on front and back, these flow over both sides and the crosses are interlocked. I work with the whole logo on both sides. The idea at the back is, that the cross from the logo takes its place in the crosses in the background.
yes! They do look very similar at first sight, but actually if you look closer it is not the same pattern. Tobamin has red AND white crosses next and over/under each other, you only have the white cross (from the logo) with red spaces in between. I don't see a problem here. It's very common to play around with the cross as it's the one "given" element of the design - using the logo is a must :)
Hi Judy, your update is great! I like it a lot.
Have you tried also other colors for the inclined cross? Imo this yellow doesn't fit perfectly.
Have a look at the Victorinox website:
In the corporate communication is used a very interesting gray. You could try to use it to color the inclined cross. What do you think?
Hi Davide, thanks for the feedback. That's a good point. I have tested the grays. The dark gray flickers in combination with red, the light gray is a bit better - looks elegant. But I prefer the yellow one. The contrast is better and I think the color is more sympathetic.
I understand your point of view. I advised to use a different color because at the moment I think there is not enough contrast. Perhaps the cyan could work well!
Cyan imo is also sympathetic. What do you think?
Maybe only a white outline? :)))
Hi Davide, a version with a black cross especially for you :-) (as a variant). The contrast is so best. I had some colors tested. Many fibrillation. So my first choice is still the yellow :-).
eheh, you are so nice to me, thx a lot! ;)
I'm Glad to see you happy. :-)
Thx as well.
