"The Blue Sea"
A whale family swims in the blue water sorrounding the Victorinox Logo.

Solution

A couple of mirroring adult blue whales swimm, forming with their shape the Victorinox logo. Following them goes the calf, all forming a waving shape. The upper curve of the logo extends forming a wave pattern; the same does the lower curve. On the reverse, the motif repeats without the logo, leaving it´s "phantom" shape.

What does your design show?

It shows that Victorinox pocket knives have a special bond with natural enviroments and wild life.

What is the unique idea about your design?

I think that the shape of the whales to form around the logo, the use of the blue scales as base of the wave pattern, which is based on the logo shape, is what makes it unique.

Is there a special story behind your design?

I´ve been always intrigued by sea life forms, specially mammals. I also always liked the blue scale pocket knife, though I never ownwd one.
