For me zhe matterhorn is a symbol of freedom. I bring it back in an abstraction!

Solution

These days we have a lot of challenges in our world. The aim was to get them in one metapher. This was the matterhorn, standing against all turbulences as an Icon. So the main side, is the abstraktion, the backside are the layers. Maybe you can undestand them as geological oder sociological. It´s a bit sophisticated, but the strong form of the triangle ist melting in its center. The stars can be interpreted as these of EU or Paramount. The Question is, in which movie we life?

What is the story behind your design?

The story ist this, what we see. I believe a Design on a special year, should show the present we live in. And so the question ist "what matter(s)......................?" Maybe sombody gets "horn(y)" now!;-)

Is there a connection between your design and the Victorinox brand?

In deed! There is a swiss symbol and of course a bow for the swiss democratic lifestyle. But is not a general hurray...banks and more ;-(
