Solution

I wanted to combine two ideas: showcasing details of the beautiful craftsmanship of Swiss artisans and make the pocket knife an even more practical gift than it already is by adding the word "Thank you" in the native language of the region.

What is the story behind your design?

It is known among swiss travelers that these pocket knifes make great gifts for hosts and new friends worldwide. And traditional patterns share many similarities and are universally understood. This design could be the first one in a series: "Klöppelspitzen" details and the word "Danke", or "découpage" details and the word "Merci" could be next?
