The design with traditional costumes for Oktoberfest symbolically highlights traditions that are maintained to date, just like Victorinox.

What is the story behind your design?

When I think of Switzerland and the long tradition of Victorinox, it makes me think of traditional costumes. One of the things that keep traditional costumes current for a big group of people here in Germany is the annual Oktoberfest. The Oktoberfest itself, as well as, the traditional costumes (Dirndl & Lederhose) are famous and celebrated all over the world. This makes the motifs current and globally recognizable while still keeping them traditional.
