Jungle, at Night
Lush pattern with made-up vegetation and sneaky felines
1/7

Solution

Hand painted illustration with hunting leopards in a fantastical jungle, at night.

Which animal(s) did you choose as a visual and why?

I chose the cheetah because of aesthetic reasons. I wanted to create a beautiful, rich pattern and the spotted feline seemed most appealing to me.

What culture or region does the animal stand for?

Cheetahs live in the Sub Saharan part of Africa and they're the fastest mammals on land. "Cheetah reminds us we've got to expand in order to express. We cannot move on our goals or desires if we are not willing to widen our hearts."

What story does your design tell?

It evokes the beauty and mystery of nature.

What style did you choose for your design and why?

I chose to work with watercolours, which is my favourite medium to work in, and my style is characterised by the abundance of details, textures and colours.

Please make sure you have filled out your country of origin in your profile! It’s important that the regional Victorinox team understands the cultural background of your design.

Cheetahs are not representative to my country.
